Professional Background
With over seven years of experience in diverse research activities, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with both national and international organizations, supporting host communities in Bangladesh and Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN)/Rohingya refugees 🌱. My work has involved developing strategies for program growth, capacity building, and efficient data management💻.
Educational Background
I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s (thesis) programs in Statistics 📊, with a double major in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) 💻 at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Academic Goals
I aim to refine my Biostatistics skills 📊 to conduct impactful research and eventually lead a research lab 🧪 focused on statistical design, methodology, and mentorship 👩🏫. My dedication to Biostatistics is fueled by influential academic mentors 🎓 and a passion for continuous learning 📚.
Research Experience
My research career includes publications in prestigious journals and successful projects funded by the Government of Bangladesh and University Grants 🎓. As a research assistant, I contributed to all stages, from developing proposals to analyzing data and writing final reports 📊. Most projects focused on socio-economic issues like poverty, social safety nets, and food security 🌍. My voluntary research has been published on community health, maternal and child health, and environmental health topics 👶🌱. With experience in data management and statistical analysis, I focus on developing methodologies and contributing to data analysis 💻.

Other Activities
I have presented my research at several conferences, including the 2020 World One Health Congress 🌍, and served as an editorial board member and reviewer for multiple journals 📚. I also mentor students in data analysis and research methodologies, especially using SPSS, Stata, and R 💻. Reviewing papers has sparked innovative thinking and inspired me to explore new methods in health research, while mentoring others on research projects has strengthened my passion for pursuing an academic career 🎓.

I aim to become an expert in public health research methods and lead a lab that advances statistical techniques while mentoring future researchers 🎓. Focusing on critical issues like infectious diseases and maternal health, I want to translate evidence-based practices into improved health outcomes 🌍💪. After my PhD, I envision leading a research lab tackling environmental and global health challenges at a top academic institution 🎓🔬.
